Disinfectant & Ultrasonic Cleaning Cycle

A step-by-step guide to the optimum cleaning cycle using the NIBOVI Instrument Disinfectant Powder & Maris Ultrasonic Machine.

01 - Lift the top section from Maris

02 - Fill to the max fill line (980ml), with warm water 30°C - 40°C

03 - Run a 90-second degas cycle (first use of the day only or new solution)

04 - Add a 20g level scoop of the powder and mix for 1 minute

05 - Place tools into the basket (don't overlap) and lower into the solution

06 - Start a 90-second cycle

07 - After the cycle, remove the tools and rinse thoroughly

08 - Dry tools and remove all moisture

To kill spores, leave your tools submerged in the solution for 30 minutes, and no longer. The solution remains active for 8 hours. Run no more than two cycles in any 1 hour period, if you exceed this replace with fresh solution after 4 hours.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to pre-clean/sanitise my tools before using your disinfectant?

No. Our high-performance disinfectant powder contains surfactants that help lift and remove debris from your tools, whilst eliminating pathogens at the same time.

If not using an ultrasonic machine, we recommend popping on some gloves and giving your tools a gentle scrub within the solution to help aid debris removal.

What should I do after the cleaning cycle?

After disinfecting, rinse your tools throughly with water and dry them completely. This ensures all disinfectant is removed. Following the instructions keeps your tools in perfect condition.

Should I change the disinfectant after each use?

No. Our solution keeps working all day. It destroys germs in the liquid as well as on your tools, so one mix in the morning lasts for up to 8 hours of use.
